FAQ'S

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Can I bring my own bike on the tour?

Yes, you’re welcome to ride your own bike on the tour. You can ship it ahead of time (often the most affordable option) or fly with it. However, we provide high-quality bikes and find it much easier for guests when we handle the equipment.

Can I use a tandem, recumbent, or trike?

Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate tandem bikes, recumbents, or trikes on our tours.

Do you offer electric bikes?

Yes! We have a wide selection of premium e-bikes available for your trip, perfect for tackling climbs like Vail Pass with ease.

Can I bring my own pedals or seat?

Absolutely. If you’re more comfortable using your own pedals or seat, you’re welcome to bring them along.

Do I need a bike light for tunnels or low-light conditions?

Yes, we recommend bringing a handlebar-mounted light with at least 400 lumens for riding through tunnels or shaded areas.

Do I need to bring a bike lock?

No need! We’ll supply a secure bike lock for you.

If my bike breaks down during the tour, will support staff fix it?

Yes! If we supplied your bike, our support team will repair or replace it as needed. We’re always nearby and ready to help, ensuring you can keep riding worry-free.

How do I get back to the airport at the end of the tour?

If your accommodations are more than 30 minutes from the airport, our support staff will provide transportation. For hotels within 30 minutes, we’ll help arrange an Uber or coordinate a hotel shuttle. If your trip begins in Breckenridge, we’ll also arrange transportation from Denver International Airport (DIA).

Which airport should I fly into for my bike tour?

We’ll provide detailed instructions on which airport to fly into based on your specific tour.

Do you offer custom or private tour departures?

Yes! We offer custom cycling tours and private group departures for groups of four or more. We’ll work with you to design a personalized itinerary tailored to your group’s preferences.

What does the “single supplement” fee mean?

The single supplement applies if you’re traveling solo or prefer your own room. Our lodging rates are based on double occupancy, so this fee ensures you have your own private room and bed each night.

What is your cancellation policy?

A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Cancel 60 days or more before your trip for a full refund (minus deposit). If you cancel within 120 days, you’ll receive a 50% refund (minus deposit). Unfortunately, no refunds can be offered within 60 days of departure.

Do you offer travel or trip insurance?

Yes, trip insurance is available for all our tours. You’ll have the option to purchase it during checkout for added peace of mind.

If I share a room, will I have to share a bed?

Possibly. Many of our charming mountain inns and B&Bs have only one bed per room. Some locations do offer rooms with two beds, but this isn’t always guaranteed. Booking a single supplement ensures you’ll have your own room and bed.

Is water available along the route?

Yes, water refill stops are available throughout each day. We also recommend starting every morning with a full bottle.

Can you accommodate vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free diets?

Yes! We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dietary needs. Just let us know your preferences in advance.

Do I need to train before my bike tour?

Some training is always helpful, but don’t worry. We offer full support if you need a break or run out of energy during the ride.

What if I can’t complete the full day’s mileage?

No problem. Since we transport your luggage daily, our support vehicle can also give you a lift whenever you need it.

Can I access my luggage during the day?

No, luggage is collected from the hotel by 10 a.m. each morning and transported to your next destination. You’ll receive it upon arrival at your new accommodations.

Bring a lightweight rain jacket and rain pants. Each bike includes a saddle bag to carry extra layers and essentials. We’ll also provide a packing list with additional recommendations.

Are tours ever canceled due to weather?

Our trips run rain or shine! The adventure continues regardless of weather conditions.
