Breckenridge Events FAQs

When is the best time to reserve rental gear for big events?

We recommend booking as early as possible (at least 1–2 weeks in advance) especially during major events and peak weekends. Early reservations ensure the best gear selection and secure your 30% online discount.

How close is the rental shop to the slopes and event locations?

Breckenridge Ski & Sport is located right in town, just a short walk from the BreckConnect Gondola and near many of the town’s major event venues. You’ll be on the mountain or in the action in no time.

Do you provide helmets and other safety gear with rentals?

Yes! Helmets are available as an optional add-on to any rental package. We also offer goggles, gloves, and other gear for purchase to keep you fully outfitted and safe on the slopes.

What’s your cancellation or refund policy if plans change?

We understand plans can shift, especially during busy event seasons. You can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. No stress, no hidden fees.

Do you offer tuning or repair services if gear issues come up during the event?

Absolutely. If you run into any equipment issues, bring it back to the shop and our techs will get you back on the mountain quickly with on-site tuning and repair services.

How early should I arrive on busy event days to get fitted and on the mountain quickly?

We recommend arriving at least 60–90 minutes before your planned mountain time on busy event days. To skip the rush, consider coming in the afternoon before your ski day to get fitted early.

If you’re driving to Breckenridge from the airport/Denver, we suggest adding additional time in case of traffic due to a busier weekend.
